Hi!

Welcome, friends! My name is Jessica, I’m a wife and a newly made mother who has ADHD. I’m creating this blog as a way to help me navigate my neurodivergence – understand it and explore the ways to live a meaningful life while finding balance and happiness. It’s my hope that by sharing my passions and journey that I will be able to connect with you – whether you’re looking for yourself or to connect with someone you love who has ADHD too.

In this blog, you’ll find where my distractibility turns into curiosity and the adventures I get myself into because of it; from my hobbies, easy food ideas, arts and crafts, DIY projects, and my newest adventure, parenthood! And, not to forget, how my ADHD plays a main factor into all aspects of my life.

A Little About Me

I’m a wife, a new mom to a wonderful daughter who was born a preemie, and an overall creative individual living in the gorgeous Pacific Northwest. I have a bachelor’s degree in English and Anthropology, which I try to apply what I’ve learned to my projects. I’m always finding new ways to connect my interests to my lifestyle.

My ultimate goal is to understand myself in the best way possible so I can live a life I love. I often struggle against challenges and have spent years trying to learn what might work for someone else, might not be best for me. But I’m proud of myself for often being resilient and persevering. I hope that by sharing my stories and interests, I can help you achieve your goals too.

Here’s What You’ll Find Here:

  • Craft How-Tos + DIY: From simple DIYs to fill my home with creativity, crafts I make as gifts to give to those I care about, to impulsively ambitious projects that pose challenges to overcome but I love learning nonetheless.

  • Parenthood: A reflection of my pregnancy challenges, having a preemie, and growing into motherhood. I’ll share the tips and tricks I’ve learned along the way that works best for my chaotic ADHDness.

  • Lifestyle: Anything and everything that occupies my life, from hobbies such as reading and rockhounding, to easy recipes, and wellness, all from the point-of-view of an ADHD mind.

This blog is about self-reflection and growth, where I learn to embrace and share the nature of my excitement and how to navigate the differences I experience, which don’t always seem to fit into typical social standards. Whether you’re here to learn something new or just curious, I hope by sharing my story I can connect with you in a way that you feel a little less alone in this world and by doing so, achieve your own goals. Welcome, I’m excited to meet you!
